- 5.0 Portland Head Light (2.392 reviews)
-Gorgeous lighthouse
Monday: 10:00 AM - 4:00 PM Lighthouses
Although Maine’s oldest lighthouse is closed to the public, there’s plenty to do within the grounds of Fort Williams Park. Stop by the adjacent museum to learn about the lighthouse’s history and enjoy the lawns—perfect for a picnic as you watch boats entering and leaving the harbor. You can also hike one of the trails along the rocky shore or explore several ruins within the former Fort Williams, which include two batteries, a powerhouse, and a bunker. More adventurous travelers can snorkel or scuba dive at the stunning Ship Cove. – Tripadvisor See more..

-Wonderful strawberries and kids activities at a beautiful farm
Nature & Wildlife Tours
Strawberry Lane is kid's activity that is set up right next to the pick your own berry fields. We were here with two grandkids, aged 3 and 5 1/2, and they spent well over an hour at all of the different stations, with fun activities to learn about strawberry growing and picking, playing active games, sampling strawberry lemonade, and eating a very substantial snack of homemade biscuits with strawberry freezer jam (recipe provided). Then they headed out into the fields to search for and pick berries. Th price seemed a bit high at first, but the fee included all of the activities plus the food and a container to fill to the brim with strawberries, which can run around $5 all by itself. The farm had done a kid's gardening class earlier in the season, and apparently has more of these entertaining and healthy activities planned for later in the season. See more..

-Lovely park - but no Lighthouses
State Parks
Lovely state park. Parking costs $7 pp (on the honor system, just put cash in the lockbox). Access to the rocky beach is a 2 minute walk. NOT appropriate for anyone with mobility issues. Important to note that neither of the lighthouses are open to the public, and actually are outside of the stare park. See more..

-The visible lighthouse of two lights state park
Lighthouses
No tours are available into lighthouses in Maine during the lovely Covid-19 days. With that being said you can still drive there and easily see it from the free parking lot and if you look hard you can see it's sister lighthouse behind it to the left (two lights park). There is huge rocks to explore on the coast and a restaurant to eat at also places for a picnic. Cute area. See more..
- 4.0 Goddard Mansion (77 reviews)
-A historic building, but not much to see
Historic Sites
Located inside the Fort William Park, the Goddard Mansion is a short walk from the central parking lot in the area. The once-beautiful mansion, designed by noted architect Charles Alexander for a local businessman, now stands in ruins and fenced off. Visitors are not allowed inside; one can only look at the building from outside. Its brick facade and stone-cut walls still look imposing, but there's not much to do other than stand outside and click a few photographs. See more..
- 4.0 Alewives Brook Farm (5 reviews)
-Best steamers ever!
Spent < 1 hour Farmers Markets
You MUST stop here at this wonderful, family owned lobster and veggie stand. Best lobsters caught the same day, and the steamers are out of this world. Everything is local and so very fresh. Right off route 77 in cape Elizabeth, just look for the signs. Nothing fancy, just good honest people selling good honest food. See more..
