   Great Swamp Conservancy is a nature center with pathways outside through the meadow, woods, and swampy areas. You'll want to wear your boots! Bring your binoculars for wildlife viewing. Trails are opened throughout the day. You probably won't be able to get through the areas with a stroller or wheelchair. No fee. They also offer educational programs through the year and have Spring and Fall Migration Festivals. See more..

   My brother and I played 18 holes here on a September afternoon. The price to play at the resort one town over is $225/player while this course is a whole lot more reasonable especially for someone like me who plays every 5 years. The course was in good shape. We didn't have to wait to tee off and there was a twosome a few holes behind. The course has no sand traps but does have numerous water hazards. The holes are interesting and a few are a little loud being right adjacent to the Thruway. We finished in a little over 3 hours with a cart. It was enjoyable and I would play there again.    The beer selections are incredible, and changed out roughly every month, so there is always something new to try. Chris runs a top notch pub, and his food is fantastic. Nikki who tends bar is a truly fantastic person. To eat, I recommend anything that Chris has had in the smoker. The burboun maple wings are just incredible.
