Wandered on Broadway waiting for car service and EXTREMELY PLEASED I found this shop. It brought back memories of old time candy shops. Lots and lots of choices. Many candies that you would only see in a shop like this. They also had a wide assortment of toys. Not a huge assortment but enough interesting things to keep you exploring all the things they had. Selected a toy train set for some kids visiting our neighborhood. John was a pleasure to talk with. He is a community gem. See more..

Very often when we are traveling I find that I need a "time out" from the activities that include running around! My skin knows it too. Finding a great place for a facial can be tricky. I highly recommend Marlinda's. It's lovely, relaxing, extraordinarily clean and they don't push product sales on you. You can spend the best one hour on yourself by yourself. I grew up in San Francisco and ate It’s It ice cream sandwiches whenever I could. Finally getting to the factory was a dream. We only had vanilla or mint chip and now you can get chocolate, strawberry, and cappuccino flavors. You can buy a case of 24 and they will package them for 24 hours in a cooler dry ice for a nominal fee so you can take them home. The factory store is near SFO Airport so it’s a nice stop on your way for a unique treat. Take the time for a classic San Francisco dessert, you will not be disappointed. See more..

Definitely a local public course. Club house is rough around the edges, but the golf is cheap and the course offers beautiful views. Some of the locals complain about the course maintenance, but coming from Wisconsin where winter rule remain in effect for most of the year, I had no complaints. I heard later, the course sits adjacent to a reservoir and the chemicals they can use is restricted. The staff is friendly, the food in the restaurant was great and I couldn’t believe the prices for San Fran area. It’s very busy and we found the pace of play extremely slow and had to drop out of our 18 hole round after only completing 9. See more..

Herald was great! The owner was a cool guy too! I had Heral both for pistol and shotgun. After shotgun class, you than need to travel to an outside shooting facility. You can travel pretty far, we had to meet in Livermore. I’m ok with that but others may not but due to the pandemic you need to be open to driving to far locations because many shooting ranges are NOT open. The shop doubles up as a diving spot and the class area is a little tight, thats their only opportunity for improvement . What is important is that the content is very pertinent to firearms use.
