    Holesinsky Vineyard & Winery image
Holesinsky’s Vineyard and Winery - The first of a growing trend in Idaho’s vineyards and wineries - was created by winemaker James Holesinsky, to honor his father Frank’s lifelong dream. Holesinsky’s Vineyard and Winery began in 2001 with the planting of 1000 chardonnay. In 2002 the vineyard grew with the addition of 3000 Syrah, 2000 Merlot and 200 Port (Sauzao, Tiuta Cao, Touragia); the growth continued in 2006 with 1000 Cabernet Sauvignon, 1000 Riesling and adding Muscat in 2007. The wines produced at Holesinsky Vineyards are by no means average, but sing songs of passion, creativity, commitment, and a celebration of life and love. In every sip of their wines you can taste the stories of the Holesinsky family. See more..

This spot delivers what it promises. The campsite is charming. There's a nice creek that runs alongside it. Most of the spots are adorned with picnic benches and shaded by trees. There was little kitten who came up and greeted us in a successful attempt to ply us for food. They charged us $21 for the spot although I feel like we coulda just parked in the $10 tent site since we didn't need a hookup for our van. The flies in the morning were a bit of a nuisance but we did our best to ignore them. Hopefully they were simply a product of the season and not a constant. The pools are well done and are a fair price for the $10 / person entry fee. We also enjoyed the private baths that offer complete privacy and a dressing room. They are drained and refilled after each rental. The grounds are well manicured and there really is a live alligator although she wasn't in much of a sociable mood when we visited. See more..

    - Worth the drive
    Geologic Formations

We are so happy we made the drive from Twin Falls to check out this park. The climb was not too difficult and my kids really enjoyed climbing along the rock formations. Walking down was a little slippery. We went on a cool morning, probably would not have enjoyed this so much in the mid afternoon heat. The park across the street was nice as well. See more..

We are excited to announce that Banbury Hot Springs is now under new ownership! Bob Jensen, Kenneth Webb, and Bill Ehrstrom have recently purchase Banbury from long time owners Herb and Zippy Deuel. The new owners appreciate the beauty of this unique property with Snake River frontage and both hot and cold water. The resort features large swimming pool and hot tubs with healing mineral water, RV park, camping, and picnic areas. The river access provides a boat dock and launching area. Thousand Springs Boat Tours operate from Banbury's dock. The secluded park-like atmosphere with large, mature trees, and off-the-road quiet, peaceful river views make this a desirable destination resort. Banbury Hot Springs will be open 7 days a week and year round. See more..
  6. 3.5 Snyder Winery (9 reviews)
    - Just what we needed after a long drive, EXCELLENT wine and steak
Spent More than 3 hours Wineries & Vineyards

This was our first stop after a long day of driving. We were staying on premises through Harvest Host. Although the sight for our minivan is just the gravel parking lot, the area is beautiful as is the winery and luckily the owner runs a steakhouse on the premises. We were exhausted and came in a bit late but were still made to feel very welcome. We were the only two at the restaurant but were given great service and meal by the owner, daughter and granddaughter and were not rushed. We were able to taste their EXCELLENT wine, enjoyed a roast tomato and bell pepper soup, caesar salad and 28 oz prime rib steak cooked perfectly, with a baked potato, followed by an excellent desert. About $100 per person was fair for the amount and quality of food and wine. See more..
