- 4.5 Little Italy in the Bronx (597 reviews)
-A Gem for Italian Tradition!
Points of Interest & Landmarks
What a wonderful place to get a "taste of Italy." From Pastries to Pasta one can find it all. I enjoy the area for the feel of the Italian descendants. There are restaurants and businesses that are family run for generations. One can find quality imported products in every store. The area is fun for all. It gets packed with College Students from the local University and people come from all areas to visit. The food is worth the trip! Visiting Arther Avenue for the Ferraagosto Festival is on my bucket list. The area is already so lively, I am looking forward to seeing how much more festive it can be. All the places are walking distance from one another. I recommend a stroll through and then pick out a place for Lunch or Dinner, then find a place for an expresso and Gelato then find places to stack up food to bring home. Pick out great bread, mozzarella, prosciutto, imported olive oil or even a cigar. One will enjoy a day in Little Italy of the Bronx. See more..

- 4.5 Port Morris Distillery (7 reviews)
-Treat yo'self!!
Distilleries
One of my favorite places to bring first time visitors to the Bronx. It is even a treat for longtime Bronx residents, who often have no idea that this wonderful place exists. The interior brings you back to the streets of Old San Juan, Puerto Rico. The space is super chill and super welcoming. The staff is fantastic. I've been a bunch of times, and each time it feels like it's the first, and the excitement is still high. You are treated to a tour of the distilling making process, as well as samples of the liquor. They make wonderful drinks with their liquor, and they have a creative menu for those who want to grub. I highly recommend this place if you're visiting the Bronx, especially if you're into Latino/ Puerto Rican culture. See more..

-Staff is SO helpful. Collection a must if you have Bronx history/ancestors

The staff couldn't have been more helpful. I spent 1 1/2 days there. The historic Bronx newspapers on film and the manuscript collection could have kept me there another 3-4 days, easily. They could REALLY use a new microfilm reader/printer, so if anyone is reading who can donate, I'm sure they'd appreciate it. See more..

Its traditionally-crafted pales ales use only premium and minimally-processed materials to create fresh, bold beer from a borough known for its own uniquely bold character. The team is enthused to bring a rich brewing tradition back to the Bronx and craft a beer that the people of the Bronx and New York City can be proud to call their own.
