  1. 5.0 Keeler Estate Vineyard (26 reviews)
    - Loved this winery and Gabby the owner
    Sunday: 11:00 AM - 5:00 PM Spent 1-2 hours Wineries & Vineyards
    Keeler Estate Vineyard image
We visited this vineyard as part of a helicopter tour and it was our favorite. Gabby picked us up right where the helicopter dropped us off then drove us thru some of the vines. She poured us a bonus of champagne to enjoy on our way to the tasting area. She stopped and told us about the grapes, etc. let us sample some. We turned a corner and they had a table with chairs next to the vines and under a tree it was just lovely. Gabby started our tasting and wow, the entire group enjoyed the Pinot Gris and their Chardonnay was nice and buttery. Gabby told us the history of the property etc. we had such a great time. The tasting fees were around $35. We purchased two bottles to take with us. The nice thing about the helicopter tour company...they tote your wines around and if the helicopter can’t hold any more, they have people who drive out to the wineries to pick them up for you. Will definitely visit this vineyard again. See more..

  3. 5.0 Amity Foods and Coffee House (4 reviews)
    - More than a Mini Mart--A great small Grocery Store.
    Speciality & Gift Shops
Owners Chuck & Glenda Lawrence have created a wonderful small grocery store with great fresh produce, an amazing wine selection, specialty items, local cards, gifts, flowers and an espresso coffee bar. All the regular picnic foods, pre made sandwiches, as well as the necessary items needed for dinner tonight purchased on the way home from work are here. Best of all the prices are comparable to the large grocery stores in nearby McMinnville. Employing local Amity people and providing a few tables inside and outside to enjoy the coffee and a pastry adds to the value Amity Foods and Coffee House provides to our little town. If you're a local shop here! We have found we can find the majority of our grocery needs right here in our local store. If you're visiting wine country, stop in for snacks, coffee or picnic supplies! Dukes Family Vineyard image
This property is absolutely gorgeous! The vineyard is meticulously maintained, the tasting pavilion looks out on a beautiful lawn and pond, and the surrounding grounds are planted with flowers, fruits and vegetables. The owners, Pat and Jackie, were very gracious hosts. They shared their vast knowledge of wines as we sampled several to find our favorites and Pat made us delicious pizzas in his pizza oven! We left with a case that included our favorite wines. I highly recommend Dukes Family Vineyards. See more..

  8. 4.5 Brooks Wine (124 reviews)
    - Still Awesome - Our 2nd visit as good as the initial one
    Sunday: 11:00 AM - 5:00 PM Spent < 1 hour Wineries & Vineyards
    Brooks Wine image
We visited Brooks in 2017 and fell in love with the story and wines. We visited again in early October and liked this place even more. We had the wonderful fortune of being served by the daughter of the previous owner that sold the vineyard to Brooks. The two families are so intertwined and you can feel it in her voice as she talks about the history and the wines. It's this passion that made us love the place during our last visit. Brooks added a new feature in 2018. They have a chef on staff. You can order restaurant quality food and pair it with your wines. The food was so good especially the Fall Squash soup. We joined Brooks wine club this time around. I look forward to getting their fantastic wines year round back here in Texas. Here are the six wineries we visited and our ranking: 1. Brooks 2. Beaux Freres 3. Shea 4. Roco 5. Trisaetum 6. Stoller See more..

    - Fine chocolates, worth the stop

    The Brigittine Monastery image
This is a quiet religious retreat, down a short gravel road in the middle of farmland in the heart of wine country. The monks hand roll chocolates and make fudge of a wide variety (lemon, mango, lavender, classic chocolate…). Walk from the little parking area to the small chapel which can be viewed from the inside of there is not a current mass. Continue up the walk to a door that leads to the small gift shop with chocolates, free samples, and a few religious items like books, rosaries and medals for purchase. The monk that assisted us was friendly and helpful and happy to answer any questions. Chocolate items were delicious. See more..
  11. 4.5 Amity Vineyards (9 reviews)
    - Beautiful view, tasty wine
    Sunday: 12:00 PM - 5:00 PM Wineries & Vineyards • Valleys
    Amity Vineyards image
Out of all the wineries we visited on this trip Amity had the nicest views. After driving up a curvy wooded road it's set up on a hill where you can overlook the valley and the mountains. There are several picnic tables set up on the hill between the building and the vines. It would be a wonderful place to bring a lunch on a nice day. The wines were very good and they had a nice variety as well. Some unique types of wines we didn't find elsewhere. If you're in the area you shouldn't pass this place up. See more..
