We took a quick trip out to the coast to visit relatives. Decided to get out for a few minutes and go find a place to have a beer. We ran across the steem donkey brewing. We are really happy that we did. We had a great time there talking with one of the owners, whom was working that day. She loaded as full of information on the area, just a very pleasant experience. We will definitely come back there when we go back out to visit again. See more..

I had a great time stand up paddle boarding with Blackfish. My two girlfriends and I decided to go out on Lake Aberdeen and contacted the owners Ryan and Katie. They were extremely friendly and generously outfitted us with brand new paddle boards and paddles, dry suits and even soft comfy water shoes. After arriving at the lake Ryan and Katie helped us with our gear and gave up a great lesson on the basics of paddle boarding- how to properly paddle, transitioning from knees to standing (without falling :)) how to turn and even a bit of history on how the sport started and has become so popular. They helped us into the water and we were off! We all had a great time and even raced our boards a bit at the end. Ryan and Katie have a vast amount of experience in the sport and it really shows. I would recommend going paddle boarding with them weather its your first time or if you are really experienced they will show you a great time. See more..

This was such a quaint and enjoyable local farmers market. Everything was crafted locally or grown locally. I actually got to meet a lot of the farmers and talk with them about their produce. They carry whatever is in season. It helps that they had activities to keep my kids busy so they didn't complain the whole time LOL and all of the vendors are so friendly! See more..

Words can't describe how wonderful my "sunset sailing" into and out of Gray's Harbor was. I have been aboard once before but that was over 25 years ago. It was so wonderful to take another adventure on such a lovely tall ship. To feel and hear the wind propelling the ship without the noise of the motor. To get to "help out" as a member of the crew. Everyone made us all feel welcome. I recommend it to anyone who has never been on a tall ship or sailed. Or like those of us who haven't sailed in a while, it was great getting back on board. What a fabulous place to visit! We came for the mermaid museum but absolutely loved the gardens. So much to see and learn about. The art, with interpretive signs leading to their bottle labels was excellent. Great insights and that they help so many different programs is phenomenal. I have lived in Ocean Shores, WA for almost 3 years now, and I asked my friend if we could go see Lake Aberdeen. She was up for it so we drove to it and were shocked to see a couple of things: 1) it is very rural looking, to the point we weren't sure it was there 2) it's connected to a fish hatchery (yum...we love trout) 3) it is man-made (which we did not know ahead of time). It had no indoor plumbing (the outhouse was disgusting), perhaps better taken care of during the summer season. There were Canadian geese swimming and several docks. I would recommend people check it out. We will go back with fishing poles next time. See more..

They have go cart racing and laser tag (cost extra than the play card), video games and game fun, mini bowling center, food and drink bar, prize counter, bumper cars and even a separately corraled toddler play area (with a floor piano). Register your kiddos at the screen located at the food bar before getting them a go cart ticket or laser tag. Staff seemed very helpful and patient...a must when working around kids. My oldest is full grown but has aspergers...they where great with him talking their ear off as well, HUGE ASSET! We would definitely go back and recommend this place. See more..
