Scuba & Snorkelling • Dolphin & Whale Watching
We went to Salt Cay to scuba dive and snorkel with whales and while the weather and rough seas were not great, our best experience was when we went scuba diving and whale snorkeling with Richard. There were only 2 of the 5 days when Richard was our dive master and captain on the whale snorkel boat and we wished that we had more of his time. Unfortunately, we rented during the week when they had an outside group charter their large boat that was staffed by him and one of his lead guys. Richard scouted our dive site before 7 am that morning before recommending that we make the trip as the visibility was good. He was also amazing at finding whales on our last day on Salt Cay, finding and getting close to multiple whales breaching close to our boat and watching a whale pound the ocean with his tail, many times over. I have been on numerous fishing excursions in my life but this was the best one ever! The boat is exactly the correct size for the fishing that you encounter and the Captain of the boat Ranfurly is an expert and putting you on fish! Ranfurly is the best of the best and he will make your trip a trip of a lifetime. You can go with other boats out of Grand Turk but you will not get the special attention to detain that this man does. He knows where the fish are and puts you on them! This is the best experience I have ever had and we did it not once but twice and was successful both times! Ranfurly is the amazing and knows how to make you happy if it is fining whales or fishing he does it right! See more..
