  1. 5.0 Mudjin Harbor (319 reviews)
    - Lots to Do or Little to Do Here
    Beaches

This is a beautiful harbor and location. We took a day trip here renting a car, taking a ferry, and wish we spent the day here. We traveled to the far east Bambarra Beach, which was nice but I feel this would have been much better to spend a couple hours here and stop off at the Conch Caves. The harbor has caves, and sand bars, and a nice beach to sun yourself and soak up the views. It is windy compared to Bambarra Beach, but you are more protected in the harbor. There is the Mudjin Bar on the top of the cliff, which is great, so that you don’t have to worry about bringing food, which has bathrooms as well. See more..
  2. 5.0 Cedar Point Beach (1 review)
    - Picturesque Secluded Island Spot
    Spent 1-2 hours Beaches
    Cedar Point Beach image
Standing on the sugary patch of sand at the far east point on the northern side of Middle Caicos, looking across the shallow break between the cays known as Windward Going Through, you see the casuarina trees poking out of the untouched Dickish Cay across the endless shades of blue. It's breathtakingly beautiful. No one is around, as if you're on a deserted island, and the peacefulness is bliss. Getting to Cedar Point isn't easy: drive toward Lormiers on Middle Caicos, make a left down the gravel road toward Wild Cow Run, when you reach the point on the gravel road where there's a choice in which way to go continue to the right toward Wild Cow Run. After driving through the trees, you'll reach a small opening, park your car there. (Do not attempt to drive down the tire tracks in the deep sand, you will get stuck.) Walk through the trees on your left to the beach, go right (east) down the beach until it ends, poke around through the trees a bit until you get to a patch of sand that looks across to Dickish Cay. Enjoy! See more..

  5. 4.5 Bambara Beach (193 reviews)
    - Relaxing
    Beaches

Just stumble upon this beach driving and probably the most beautiful and swimmable beach I've ever been too. There is a small restaurant that is excellent called Windsor Creek Cafe and beverage service, a Small outhouse, table and shade. Bring beach chairs and a cooler. You can wade out is the water a mile from the shore and there is no rip current. The boys that came with us were able to wade out to an island and explore. Good for a full day or two and easy enough for a 1/2 day. See more..

    - Worth the experience!

Phenomenal experience! Worth taking the ferry to see. Jennifer was so informative and had such a positive disposition. We were pleasantly surprised that the amount of mosquitoes significantly diminishes when entering the caves. It was exciting for the small children that we had with our group when she had us turn off our flashlights for a second to get a feel for what it was like in the dark. So cool! Highly recommended, I would recommend wearing something other than flip-flops though. I wore Keen sandals and was very pleased with my choice in footwear due to unsteady ground. See more..
  8. 4.0 Crossing Place Trail (38 reviews)
    - Nice walk. Bring water and closed toed shoes
Spent 1-2 hours Bodies of Water • Beaches • Hiking Trails

Nice trail. It was difficult to locate the markers in certain parts. Basically follow the ocean and you will be fine. Wear sneakers and bring water. Beautiful views. We access the trail on the curve before Mudjin Harbor. It was difficult to spot the entrance. I actually had to get out of the car to locate the opening. Also watch for big but beautiful spiders at the opening. See more..
  9. 4.0 Wild Cow Run Beach (19 reviews)
    - Not for wussies. Worth it for the adventurous
    Beaches

The reviews for this beach are all over the place. If you don't like adventure, don't go. If you have troubles reading a map, don't go. If you're going to complain about flotsam/jetsam, don't go. In fact, if you don't realize boats have been going by this beach - with no one living on it to take care of it - for 500 years, don't go. However, if you like seclusion and adventure, it is worth it. We had no problems with bugs when we were there. There was one other group that came to look at it and they left quickly. We spent many many hours there in peace and quiet. See more..

We made a brief stop here. The machinery rusted out in the water was an interesting stop and made for a few good pics. It smelled really bad when we were here and the water wasn’t very impressive. It looks like the area is having a sargassum problem. See more..

You'll pass Haulover Plantation on the way to Wild Cow Run beach. It's pretty grown over and not maintained, the sign is basically falling down. I'd suggest skipping it and heading to the beach instead. See more..
