So ,we had the pleasure of doing the water rafting tour with Xclusive Adventures. Even though my girlfriend had a little accident while Rafting,the boys took very good care ,and aided her right there and then,so we were able to keep going. I just want to say that the service and saftey procedure was more than satisfying. The whole team of Xclusive Adventures was very Professional and we are actually thinking about doing it again before we leave. The water and river down rafting was pure magical fun,with all exciting emotions throughout the whole trip. We went out on three trips with Vishwa. We saw 30+ elephants in one day, often times as the only jeep. He was a great guide pointing out jackals, water buffalo, monkeys, crocodiles, mongoose, eagles, lizards, parrots, and many more. We didn’t get to see a leopard (extremely rare) but it wasn’t because of a lack of effort by Vishwa-he took us far out to many boulders in the park where other operators don’t go. He was attentive to our needs and even brought us a pair of binoculars to use. My wife and I will have these amazing memories for a lifetime. Thanks Vishwa! See more..

What a fantastic rafting adventure by Rainbow rafting!!! We enjoyed to the maximum and captured a lot of beautiful pictures during the ride. An excellent service given by Kasun and Ishan who were so professional in rafting. Rainbow rafting is the best place to do rafting in Kitulgala I must say. We were taken on the river tube for more than one hour and we were given a chance to swim on the river during the ride too. Very polite service and friendly staff. A complete speech was given before the ride on how we need to act during the raft tour. Each and every information was very helpful during the ride. We were so lucky to capture the beautiful moments of the sun set during the tour. Highly recommended the professional service given by Rainbow rafting team. A very big thank to them. Kavisha Safari Service. Amazing experience with Kavisha. Time Short but worth the travel. Probably the largest protected elephants herd in Sri Lanka One of the best place to watch elephants. We saw about 65 elephants during our 5.5 hour safari. And there was groups and little baby elephant. The safari trail is a bit bumpy road. So I highly recommend them than others who could handle Tours. they are the BEST. Kavisha was an excellent driver and unofficial guide, we did get the offer of a guide but decided not to, which was definitely the right choice. We saw several herds of buffalo and lots of elephants, we were surprised how close we got. Although the pools were quite full we even saw a couple of crocs. Kavisha had a great eye for spotting even the smallest of the beautiful birds. Would definitely recommend for local and foreign tourist who come to do national park safari in Udawalawa. A friend of mine recommended me to contact Dushan for a tour in National park and we were not disappointed Dushan was the be guide we could imagine for our safari, everything was perfectly organized from beginning to end. It is incredible how he can spot even the smallest animals from a distance . I still don't know how he does it. Even though he knows a lot about the animals ,he gives you time to enjoy and "inhale" the experience and silence . We took pathsin which we almost never crossed other jeeps. I ended up doing a ratnapura tour to the mines and waterfall with him. It was a lot of fun for a reasonable price. He speaks decent English and also knows everyone in the city. A great contact to have. He tries hard to make sure you have everything you need. He drove me on tuktuk the next day to the south and I got to try some new food items on the way. Shamika drove us last year from Nuwara Eliya to Yala with a stop to see the Nine Arches Bridge. It was quite a long day of driving (especially he had to return to Udawalawa after droppings us off in Yala) but Shamika was very patient with us for the whole trip. He even accompanied us to the hike to Nine Arches Bridge to make sure we got there safely, and helped us take lots of photos along the way. Absolutely amazing encounter with an elephant at the ECRF. They care so much about them, which is very visible. We were there on a day visit and it was great to spend time with Mali! We learned a lot about elephants and their unfortunate status as labor animals and tourist attractions in Sri Lanka. None of that here, thankfully! Seeing one so well taken care off, cleaning her and feeding her was fantastic. We asked a lot of questions, Myszka and Amarasiri answered everything. The communication & organization of the day trip was smooth, they helped us with directions from and going back to Kandy, where we were located. Myszka was even on call to make sure the bus driver drops us off where needed. If you want a truly ethical experience with an elephant and not the exploitive riding experience or the 'orphanage' this is for you. A visit to the Udawalawa Elephant Orphanage is not only completely entertaining and delightful, it also supports the excellent work that the orphanage does. This venue is exceptionally popular with the locals, so make sure that you arrive 30+ minutes before feeding time if you want to get a seat closest to the enclosure. There are about 30-40 younger elephants that attend the feeding and it's amazing to see how they all interact with each other...just like humans...some pushy, some quiet and waiting their turn, some demanding, some vocal. Completely entertaining. Also spend some time viewing the exhibits before/after the feeding show to see all of the great work this organization does. NOTE: you will not get to feed the elephants yourself as some other reviews have implied. Instead, you watch the professional handlers care for and feed elephants in various groups (based upon age/size). Definitely a must see experience!! See more..
