    - Beautiful Gokyo lakes and amazing views.

    Gokyo Lakes image
The Gokyo lakes at an altitude of 4790m are surrounded by beautiful mountains. This place offers stunning views of the lake and the famous mountain peaks including Thamserku and Cho Oyu. Climbing upward to Gokyo Ri is difficult but extremely rewarding because of the panoramic views of all the mountain peaks including Mount Everest. See more..
  3. 5.0 Kala Pattar (84 reviews)
    - The highlight of the EBC trip but tough after days on the trail
Sunday: 8:00 AM - 7:00 PM Spent More than 3 hours Mountains
    Kala Pattar image
Having visited iEBC the day before you get up reasonably early between say 4am and 6 am and head up for sunrise. The day I went up it was -15 but no wind. It’s a huge effort I reckon less than 15 percent of the people at Gorek Shep made it to the top whereas 70 percent made EBC. At the top the view is amazing 360 degrees but you can see Everest from only a few hundred meters along the path . What I forgot was I had a long trek afterwards which nearly killed me but well worth it. I hear at sunset it maybe even better . See more..
  4. 5.0 Kala Patthar (62 reviews)
    - Highlight of the trek
Sunday: 12:00 AM - 11:59 PM Spent 1-2 hours Mountains
    Kala Patthar image
This was the highlight of the 12 day trek and that is saying something as the whole EBC trek was amazing. The views of Everest, surrounding mountains and Khumba Glacier were simply incredible. At 5440m it is a bit of a climb but I can't recommend it highly enough. If you have an option go at sunset (bring a torch to get back) as Everest has a brilliant orange glow to it, whereas at sunrise you just have the sun in your eyes. We only got half way up but still good. See more..

  9. 5.0 Everest View Point (18 reviews)
    - A good acclimatisation climb from Namche
    Spent < 1 hour Lookouts
    Everest View Point image
This is a great acclimatisation climb from Namche where you'll get your first proper views of Everest if you're doing the EBC trek. Be warned, it's a tough walk, especially the last ten minutes or so, but the views of Everest are amazing (as are the views down to Namche). It took us about 2.5 hours with a 10 year old and a 12 year old. There is a beautiful monastery on the way out of Namche which we passed, and the usual prayer flags and stupors. See more..
  10. 5.0 Mera Peak (17 reviews)
    - Most breathtaking view of the Himalayas top peaks for a mere human
Sunday: 7:00 AM - 9:00 PM Spent More than 3 hours Mountains
    Mera Peak image
The view of Everest, Lhotse, Nuptse, Makalu, Cho Yuo etc.. from High Camp on the Mera peak trail is one of the most incredible views that one might experience as a mere human (ie not from a plane). I would recommend this experience for anyone looking for the unique, off beaten path beauty of our planet. Not an easy trek, but relatively accessible for people in generally good fitness shape and mental toughness. See more..

My trip to Kanchenjunga Base Camp Trek was super wonderful. I'm planning a trip to Kanchenjunga word third highest planet and the second-highest mountain Himalayan country of Nepal side. Luckily, I visited this autumn and I thought, the weather and the mountain scenery are especially showing me. I really fell in love with the natural beauty of the Himalayas. once the time is not enough to explore pristine Mount Kanchenjunga. See more..

    - Outstanding Everest Base Camp landing of 4 and 6 year Olds.
Sunday: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM Helicopter Tours • Sightseeing Tours
    Easy Flight Travel image
I could not be more pleased with this company. We had an ambitious plan, which was extremely high risk, if we account for all risk variables. Mr. Raju Mogul showed remarkable resourcefulness in the organization and bringing all parties involved to work together. Our particular thanks goes out to the remarkable altitude pilot Captain Dilip who exhibited tecnhical altitude skills such that we were able to land our 4 and 6 year-old children in Everest Base Camp, at altitude 5,435 meters above sea level, with minimum risk and exposure time of the younglings. Captain Dilip showed outstanding care and consideration for the safety of the young age passengers, who were thrilled by him. We now have a legacy photo that the children will enjoy long after we are all gone. See more..

  14. 5.0 Shey Phoksundo National Park (6 reviews)
    - Shey Phoksundo Trek, Lower Dolpo, Nepal
Sunday: 12:00 AM - 11:59 PM National Parks
    Shey Phoksundo National Park image
6 nights 7 days trip, with 2 days to trek up to the lake, spend a day around the lake and get back down in 2 days. Beautiful lake that actually looks like shape of the Lungs of a human being, hence the name derived from "phokso" which means lungs in Nepali. Surprise fact: This lake has an outlet for the water to get out and flow down south through the mountains, however beside the section that flows through the outlet, the lake flows upwards north in an opposite direction which is really surprising. The wind pushes the lake towards the opposite direction. See more..

    - Dhiraj is the best
Multi-day Tours • Private Tours • Day Trips
    Real Sherpa Adventures image
It was our fifth visit in Nepal for trekking and climbing. This time we climbed Yala peak and trekked a lot of places around. We trekked to and around Annapurna, around Manaslu, 3 passes before. And there was Dhiraj team every time and we were happy with this team every time. There were from 4 to 16 per at our groups in different years, but the level of Dhiraj service was always very high. Every participant of our group (I’d like to mention, there are as really strong as the very “slow” trekkers) feel care and safety every minute from the moment of arriving Kathmandu till depart. I highly recommend this company. See more..
  17. 5.0 Gokyo Ri (3 reviews)
    - Views from the top of Gokyo Ri are absolutely stunning.
    Geologic Formations
    Gokyo Ri image
The pre-dawn hike up the mountain and the near-vertical climbing of Gokyo Ri are all very strenuous particularly at that altitude. However, it is more than worthwhile to take up the challenge. It's not just the sense of a great accomplishment. The views from the top of Gokyo Ri with a 360 degree panorama of the entire Everest region are absolutely stunning. See more..
  18. 5.0 Kala Patthar (3 reviews)
    - Ultimate destination on the entire EBC trek.
    Mountains • Geologic Formations
    Kala Patthar image
This was the highest altitude(5,644 m) I ever reached/trek in my life till date, and a journey of lifetime. This adventurous destination was on my bucket list from over a decade which fulfilled last October. If I could give 6 stars (say exceptional than excellent) it would be right valued, and the view (including Mt. Everest) from Kala Patthar was unbeatable. See more..

    Kami Nurbu Sherpa image
I have known Kami for 20 years and consider to be a great friend. We have trekked personally and professionally with groups to a number of different areas of Nepal and have had countless amazing adventures. I can recommend Kami and the services he offers to anyone and everyone. He is honest, hardworking and always has your interests at the front of his mind. You are guaranteed to have the ultimate experience in his company. I have just completed the Dhaulagiri Circuit with Kami and whilst challenging in many ways especially the remoteness, lack of facilities and the very difficult terrain we had a fantastic safe trip. 23. 4.5 Irish Pub (130 reviews)
    - Experience of a Lifetime
Spent 2-3 hours Bars & Clubs
    Irish Pub image
Spent 2 nights here in April 2018 (ignore the date given below, it didn't go back far enough) at Zamling Guest House. Very friendly place with reasonable accommodation and food. Near the top of the town, so quite a trek after a hard day's walk from Pahkding - just when you think you have arrived, there's a few hundred feet to go, but what a view from the bedroom window, especially at dawn. We went over to a local village on our 'rest' / acclimatisation day and were grateful for it as we progressed to Base Camp. We repeated this exercise twice more, the first time to Ama Dablam Base Camp so by the time we got there we avoided any hint of altitude sickness. Looking back, we were very fortunate to have done this before the Pandemic, with a very good organisation (The Mountain Company). See more..

    Sherpa Museum image
If you are in Namche, you must try to take a trip to the Sherpa Museum. It's a very short hike from the town, but it's worth it - You will not only get to see a slice of Sherpa culture, but will also get to see some great moments in stories from the Everest region. Lakhpa Soman ji is an amazing photographer and if you are lucky you might get to meet him. See more..

  29. 4.5 Makalu Arun Social Trek (14 reviews)
    - Makalu Base Camp
Sunday: 12:00 AM - 11:59 PM Hiking & Camping Tours • Private Tours
    Makalu Arun Social Trek image
If you are looking for adventure and to experience the real Nepal trekking with MAST is ideal. I went on their teahouse trek to Makalu Base Camp. It is like trekking to Everest base camp but without the throngs of tourists on that trail. On our first night at Makalu base camp we were the only ones there (other than 2 Sherpa running the teahouse). On the 2nd night there was one other group camping at base camp. This is a remote area that has not yet been affected too much by tourism. There is a road inching closer to the region every year so now is the time to experience this unspoiled region. See more..
