Sunday: 12:00 AM - 11:59 PM Spent 1-2 hours Religious Sites
Visited in December 2022. We went to this place as part of a full day sightseeing tour. We went around 5 pm and the air was too cold. Since it is a Hindu temple, we need to remove our footwear and the cold flooring didn't help our cause. Moreover the officials were cleaning the temple with cold water. We had a good darshan (view) of the deity. We stood in line multiple times for darshan as the lines were small. We were told there will a premium line if there is crowd. As expected, the premium line has a fee. The view of deity is much better after the lights are switched on. Like in any Hindu temple, the main deity is surrounded by multiple other deities that you can walk around and pray. Like Swayambunath Temple, there are a lot of monkeys around. As long as we don't open food packets or water bottles in front of them, they will not disturb us. See more..
