   It is in the Cathedral always something going on .. I even witnessed a child baptism. That was very nice with elegant people! Please note that the people are very religious and respect their conservative practices..    Central Market in Balti is right in the city center, in the biggest walking area in the city. To arrive to it, just park the car in the city center, and at a 5 minutes walk, you arrived at destination. Here you can find all the good food in the world: meat, fruits, spices, vegetables, fresh salads, fish, all the cakes and candy in the world. You can also bargain for big qty. Unfortunately, at the RomanianCustoms, if it`s not sealed and packed from the factory, all your goods will be confiscated. Close to this market, there are a lot of small shops and one of the nicest walking area in the city. Don`t expect to find international brands, because you won`t find them here in Moldova. The changing course for coins is: 1 ROMANIAN LEU for 4.5 MOLDAVIAN LEU. 1 EUR is equal to 4.5 ROMANIAN LEU. See more..
