   An absolutely stunning beach.... miles of uninterrupted golden sands with cool, clear and safe waters. Best swimming is at the far northern end at Punta Perula where the breakers are more subdued. A must-see (and walk) beach.Watch for the local crocodiles in the lagoon adjacent. See more..

   We hired a boat and umbrella from Restaurante El Jabalan to go to Isla Cocina about a 15/20 minute boat ride from Perula beach. It is a beautiful protected cove with aqua blue water. There is nothing there so bring what you need. We stayed for 2 hours before our boat picked us up. We were so happy to have the umbrella. Upon our return, we enjoyed a tasty lunch at El Jabalan.
