   My wife and I spent a week on Mismaloya Beach and went with Ulises on a sunset cruise, cliff jumping, and bioluminescence night snorkeling around Los Arcos on our last night there. He is a fantastic person and wonderful guide. We loved every minute of our time with him and his friends. I would recommend that everyone use Jack Sparrow PV if you are at Mismaloya beach.    Snorkeling with Mismaloya Adventures was the BEST part of our trip to Puerto Vallarta! Our family of four were the only people on the tour, and we took a short boat ride from the beach out to the arches. Our guide actually jumped into the water with us and led us to the exact right locations to see hundreds of colorful fish, puffer fish, an eel, and so much more. While the people on the giant tour boats of 40+ passengers were bobbing away aimlessly with the tide, our guide instructed us on how to maneuver such that we didn’t get slammed into rocks or swept away from the fish. Super honest and incredible prices- the price for the four of us was less than the cost for one person on a large boat snorkel tour.    We chartered a private snorkel tour with Sergio and team and were extremely impressed. We got to see several top dive spots in the area and received excellent photos/videos included in the price. When you factor this in, the price is not that much more than most of the big group tours so we were very happy about that. Sergio and the crew are all very proud to show & tell you about the sites, architecture in the area, and histories of towns that dot the south banderas bay in puerto vallarta. They are professional and very friendly and made us feel safe and in great hands. They dock out of Mismaloya and everyone in town knows who they are so they were easy to find.    Such Great service that we went twice! Capt chava Is fluent in English and Spanish, he was Very friendly, fair and very knowledgeable about the area. The first trip was a tour around the Arcos - he made a great impression and We enjoyed ourselves so much we scheduled a fishing trip 2 days later with capt chava. He ensured myself and my boyfriend had a Great time, by fishing for my boyfriend and stopping by Yelapa beach for me! He even made fresh ceviche from the fish we caught right there on the boat, best service we had while in puerta vallarta, I Highly recommend capt chava to show you the Bay, its beaches and just have an overall great day appreciating the beauty of the bay!    Daniel was an amazing guide - very accommodating, kind, and fun to talk to. I went with friends and family. We arrived about 5 minutes late and allowed us some time to go to the restrooms before we started the tour. The tour itself was great. While the waters were a little rough this time of the year, Daniel took his time to ensure we stayed safe. The tour itself was advertised as 1 hour but Daniel allowed us to have extra time in the water to explore. We saw lots of fish while on the boat and when we were snorkeling - Daniel would feed the fish with bread so the fish would come to us. Would highly recommend this excursion.    Four of us, all experienced riders, went on a 3 hour ride with Chavez. What a wonderful experience. We ride through jungle, rivers and the town to the Predator movie set at elEden, where we had a nice break at the restaurant. The horses were all in good shape and well cared for. Chavez figures out we knew what we were doing pretty quickly so we had some nice trots & canters. Go in the morning as it gets really hot & dusty later in the day. See more..

   Pedro Lopez took us on a horseback tour through the jungle to the Predator set. It took about two hours. Pedro is really a friendly local rancher with deep roots in the community. A couple of our party had never been on a horse, so he offered just to walk with us and train the neophytes on basic handling skills. The ride through the jungle was memorable; the horses were well trained & calm and responded well to direction. For Mexican standards, the horses and mule were well kept, but they were tethered (I’m not sure if they are stabled at night) and rope harnesses were used (I prefer leather as they are softer on the horse’s snout).    This place is definitely worth the Uber ride from Puerto Vallarta. It's about 5 miles south of town. It was great learning about tequila making and the history of this little distillery. The tequila was great! The añejo was my favorite with the repesado coming a close second. See more..

    We took the hop on hop off tourist bus. We got off at the end of the line at mismaloya. The driver showed us the time table for when they would come back around to get us. You can also take the city bus for 10 pesos(same area for bus stop) & then you walk .4 mi. It may look a little “rough” for some ppl, but it is a perfectly safe walk. When you get off the bus, there is a guy that sells tickets that is actually a bit cheaper than the website $. We bought the bag of animal food for 50p there. Midway there is a cafe to sell you more, plus people food & drink & caps, souvenirs. This zoo is interactive where you can be up close& feed them! Ducks walking freely around including a baby chick! Spent 2 hours & would have spent more except the nats were starting to bite us. Bathrooms were clean but no toilet seats or toilet paper. See more..

    Such a beautiful place! With a river entering into the ocean, a walkway along the rocks, a rustic setting with a few beach restaurants. I took the most gorgeous photographs here. However, we do wish we had waited to have lunch somewhere else. The shrimp tacos we had were horrible (a couple of small shrimp covered in piles of lettuce and shredded carrots) - tasteless!     When we first approached the facility, we were met by Jorge, from the first interaction we knew this would be a magnificent experience! Jorge was laid back and most informative and you felt like you were at home, he was informative and joking at the same time, we reserved a spot for the next morning. Then we met Ozzy, a young and very knowledgeable leader under Jorge’s direction. He was awesome and made sure everyone knew all safety precautions. He was the same as Jorge, serious with his position but made us laugh and feel at home. Then we had the “Mexican Paparazzi”, Alex, we never saw him pass us, but he was at every turn and photo opportunity there was!     Punta Negra is a great little beach. We have been many times while staying in the Romantic Zone of PV. During the week it is not busy at all. There is a small restaurant that serves delicious Mexican dishes of fish or shrimp. Cerveza is cheap and cold. Only a few sales people walking the beach.
