We were greeted to the Maldives with very bad weather and our stay on Dhigurah was delayed by one day, and the sea then continued to stay rough for the next few days. This meant the dive sites we could visit were more limited and visibility not great. However, Island divers were amazing in making the most of it, and we still managed to see a whale shark 3 days in a row both snorkelling and on a dive as well as mantas! Absolutely amazing staff who really know what they're doing. What I would recommend is for people to come not during the monsoon, as while websites say mantas and whalesharks can be found more in these months, the staff assured they are there year round, so don't feel you are missing out, better than risking a week of horrible weather! Will definitly return as you can never get enough of whale sharks and Mantas. Unforgettable experience!!! See more..

Just returned from a great trip to Family divers on Rasdhoo; Everything was organised by the team in advance over email from afar, from the airport transfer to the accommodation and of course the diving. Replies to my emails were always fast and comprehensive. The guest house had lovely, spacious, air-conditioned rooms and a lovely shaded outdoor courtyard for relaxing, chatting and swapping dive photos! The diving itself was excellent, all from a spacious and well equipped Dhoni. The dive sites were outstanding and varied, from deep channels full of pelagic life to caves, stunning Corals and a Manta cleaning station. The team were qualified instructors so other than guiding, courses were available and some sites were suitable for even open water inexperienced divers. The package cost was extremely reasonable, and for us it was cheaper than staying and diving in the Med. No advance payment was sought, either. The passion and attention to detail shown by the team whilst guiding dives was second to none and very reassuring. A big thankyou to Dani, Clyde, Lalo and Diego for making our stay so enjoyable and showing us your little island paradise. We aim to return in March with our teenagers. See more..

We spent nine days in Ukulhas and seven of those four of us dived with Yakko's team. They took us to Maya Thila, Maalhos Thila, Fesdhu wreck, Manta cleaning station, just to name a few places. The trips were just fabulous, and the team was very professional. They kept the relaxed spirit and did their best to find the best dive sites. They were very observing when diving – we could not miss a fish or a turtle. Two of us rented the equipment and they we well-kept and of good quality. Yakko, Zamicko and Aari were just great and adjusted the trips according to our varying diving skills. Rimatte was skillful captain of the boat who kept the spirits high and music playing. We highly recommend visiting Ukulhas and when there, dive with Murakabay Maldives - the best Dive Center in Maldives. See more..

We had an amazing time with Stefi and her crew! We did so much, the mantas, snorkeling, island hopping, abandoned resort and the whale shark. The trips were a lot of fun! One of my favorites was the sandbank/island hopping combo which included a stop at a beautiful sandbank with crystal clear water, quick stop in rasdhoo, and then onto snorkling with turtles in thoddo! We even visited the papaya/watermelon farms and had a great lunch at a local restaurant in thoddo so you get a lot for your moneys worth! The service and care from papa fish was top, they will take videos and photos off you, provide snacks and water throughout the day and always check if you happy and comfortable. We engaged in very interesting conversations with stefi about life in Ukulhas and she told some funny stories about her experience living on the island when we had drinks in the evening. There must be almost 10 dive centers on the atoll of Rasdhoo. How to choose the good one?!?! End my choice finally on Drop dive. Reviews were good and they reply quiet rapidly to my mails. Did a total of 16 dives whit them. The center tried to show me different dive's site as possible. Equipement is in good condition, boat is big, well design for divers, crew is kind and helpful. It happens some times that the snack was not as it suppose to be (lack of fruits, sometime no cookies) as most of dive centers but we are there for bubbles, not to eat. Maria have been my guide for almost all the immersions I did. She is very professional. She never lower her standards whit the steps of the procedure in preparation of a dive: she encouraged me to verify methodically my equipment before entering in the water. Her briefing were clear, friendly, whit plenty of details of the dive sites. She never rushed me and always do her best to increase my abilities and confidence. You can feel under the water that Maria loves to do bubbles: she is amazed of lots of observations and works hard to show you the marine's biodiversity. Myself and my boyfriend came to Safari Island for a holiday and for him to do the diving course. All the staff at the Joy Dive centre were amazing! Every single person was very polite and patient with beginners. Leon and Nicola from the Dive Centre are such lovely people and were an absolute pleasure to be around whilst learning to dive! Good diving center with good staff and equipment. Dive Master, Auof, was always friendly and helpfull. During the dive he was calm and ensured the safety and well-being of its guests. The dive sites can be discussed with him individually. Manta point and fish head was amazing. The equipment is in good condition, feels like new. Contact was made in advance via Facebook/Whatsapp in a completely uncomplicated way and all questions were always answered immediately. I felt much safe here, as all the details were clearly discussed from the beginning. Safety is important for the diving center. We were informed every day about the weather situation for the upcoming dive and we agreed. We saw everything from dolphins, flying fish, sharks, rays to turtles, moray eels and tuna. A crew that led excursion gave their best. We managed to see so much of the flora and fauna, such as nursing sharks, turtles mantas, stingrays, clown fish, octopuses... Coral reefs that we saw were mesmerising. Furthermore, they were such a good company, making sure to feel so much welcome, explaining about the wildlife and everything that that was interesting to us.I would definitely recommend them to anyone that wants to experience best that Maldives have to offer.10/10 See more..

Based on 15 dives with goDivers and their boat crew, I recommend them to all divers. There are plenty of beautiful thilas, two wrecks, a manta lagoon and a whale shark reef nearby Dhigurah. We have never missed the main attraction e.g. a whale shark or manta, but I would recommend other dive sites to anyone who avoids crowded places. Almost all thilas are full of small fish, morey eels, turtles, jacks and tuna, and from time to time: lion fish, bat fish, shrimps, lobsters, rays, Napoleons and small sharks. We came here entirely for the diving and we were not disappointed. I think the company is owned or has a partnership with the hotel we were staying at, White Sands, and every night the crew would come to the resturant to ask if we were interested in the next day's scuba adventure (we always were). All the staff on the boat were helpful and our main guide, Mohammed, was very knowledgeable and passionate about the welfare of all the creatures on the reef, particularly the whale sharks which attracted HUGE crowds of snorkellers (and divers), resulting in quite unruly behaviour from guests on other boats. The briefings we received before each dive were thorough and informative, ensuring that I felt comfortable and safe prior to entering the water. Fantastic dive center. Usa (the dive guide) and his crew are just amazing. They do everything they can to make your dive experience simply perfect. Thanks to them, during our stay, we (me and my gf) saw whale sharks (3 of them!), reef sharks, manta rays, turtles...we both were OWD with only 15 dives, and felt always safe and well-attended. They sail everyday with their traditional-looking boat (which is really cool and comfy). They offer you many snorkeling/diving options, and plan their trips considering what you want to see during your stay. I visited Vilamendhoo at the end of October 2022 for 9 days. The resort was great but that’s a different review. The Euro Divers team was awesome - Eduardo, Etienne, Alba, Penny, Sarah, Naoko and everyone else. Always helpful, informative, and friendly. Good dive site orientations. The boat crews were great with the gear, and had hot coffee and tea on board for divers to warm up during surface intervals. Boats never felt crowded, had overhead areas for dry storage, and with good marine heads. The diving was some of the best, did 14 dives while I was there. You can dive on air or Nitrox is readily available (and preferred). There can be a lot of current, so you need to bring a reef hook. Definitely definitely definitely do the manta ray dives at Mahibadhoo Madivaru and Coral Hills. Also I really liked Hudda Thila. Saw lots of reef sharks and moray eels, some very large stingrays (much bigger than in the Caribbean), manta rays at the cleaning stations, eagle rays, some turtles, clownfish, lionfish, schools of moorish idols, sergeant majors, batfish, a variety of parrotfish, large napoleon wrasse, scorpionfish, lobsters and finally a mantis shrimp! Very friendly and professional staff who loves the house reef. We do only snorkeling but got an impression that the service are excellent for divers also. We took part to the manta snorkeling tour and saw several mantas. The guide made sure that every one saw the beasts even though the current was very very strong. The guide also saved my camera when the wrist band broke and the camera sunk. He signaled to the divers and they brought my camera back to the surface. Thank you. We recommend the night snorkeling.
