Ticket price 5€ -1 person. Distance from Druskininkai ~5/8km can't remember best go with car but also fine with a bike. There is lot of interesting sculptures to see it also you will find there music and light installation with it. Visit took me ~30min if you would read all stuff around maybe it would take 60min. My Lithuanian girlfriend lives not far from here and we had a walk over it twice while on holiday there in July. She was a wee bit concerned about banditos in the forest on the way there, but the only bandito's came in the form of mosquitos, and (I) had a few itchy lumps that day. We were approached by a gopnik type girl who asked for a cigarette. She was a bit scruffy and had a dirty face, but spoke perfect English. I gave her a Marlboro, and she thanked me, and she thanked me several times more, and went back to her squatting, track suited friends. Te second time we visited the bridge was after a wedding we attended in Alytus, where the happy couple had photo's taken, and attached a padlock to one of the railings, a Lithuanian tradition. There was bungee jumping going on and although tempted, decided that my kilt outfit wasn't the ideal attire for this sport. See more..

I am originally from Alytus so I was even more delighted to see a vast improvement in this museum. As kids we have visited on a couple occasions but let's say this museum was rather 'static' and didn't change much to visit it frequently. It had refreshed now. They had Easter exhibition at the time of my visit. Another area of the museum has interactive facilities. You can also use a program which functions as 'Google Maps' so you have a walk through old Alytus, compare buildings from that time and today. On the first floor there is a room with the whole 'timeline' of Alytus since its establishment. You can read old documents, watch pictures, listen to stories. I was pleasantly surprised the admission is free on Wednesdays. Overall it was a good experience however I wanted to see more history of our ancestors Yotvingians. A superb place for a walk Main trees in a park are oak trees. It is not so common. There are many legends from the old time were oak tree are considered as saint ones. GPS coordinations are given of parking lot. From there you follow signs and walk to the mound. It is beautiful walk. You can spend there more than hour. If you would like a picnic you can find a fire place down the mound near river. Near parking lot you can find some history of this place. Druskininkai aquapark is an amazing place! It’s great to stay there for a few days as there are so many things to do: spa centers, slides and attractions, saunas and hammam, medical procedures and so on. I love this place! It’s always clean and cozy here. Druskininkai aquapark is a great chance to change the scenery and relax. And it was so beautifully decorated for Christmas time! This time I met a problem with my bank while making a hotel reservation and the personnel kindly assisted us so that we could get some relaxation. Thank you very much! Ciurlionis music and art lovers and an experience to explore how houses used to look in the beginning of the 20th century. We were able to see M. K. We just flew in an drove straight from Vilnius to Druskinikai. We saw this place, parking and information sign an decided that stretching of the legs is needed. We did not go in the museum, which I have a feeling, was a bad decision. But we did wander through the woods. It is like a fairy tale. Really clean, wooden sculptures, information signs,picnic spots. The park infrastructure is very well maintained and there is lot's of activities from bike routes to water tourism. It was only few days in Druskininkai with really bad weather, but great sauna, salt room, mineral water, mineral baths was so relaxing and so perfect, that was worthy to go for few days to Druskininkai. If You don't have plenty of time and going just for few days or simple for the weekend, I would recommend to try Wellness Package "Health Circle" - the perfect combination of active and passive relaxation. Overall, 1 academic hour (45 min) is not enough to learn anything, when most of the time you will hear what the snowboard is and doing some body exercise which are not related to general learning.
