    - A must see, smell, and taste experience in Grenada
    Gardens
Laura's Herb & Spice Garden image
Was on a 2 week Caribbean cruise and had a stop at Grenada and decided to visit this place as part of my custom day tour in Grenada. The only problem is that this is on the east side of the island and most of the attractions are on the west side of the island. It was really worth the trip. The place is absolutely amazingly clean and crisply maintained. It’s not as big as one thinks. It’s quite medium sized. Entrance fee is about $4 USD per adult and a tour guide will take you around the garden explaining all the trees and the plants. It roughly takes around 45 mins to an hour to go around looking at all the herbs. You’ll also get to taste all the leaves and the tour guide explains all the benefits of each tree and its leaves. It was really interesting to taste the cocoa seeds. I learnt about so many spices and herbs and their medicinal values. You also get to taste and smell all the herbs. I tasted coca seeds! There's a shop at the end of the tour where you can buy spices. See more..
  13. 4.5 Magazine Beach (57 reviews)
    - Beautiful and not full of fellow passengers
Sunday: 12:00 AM - 11:59 PM Spent 1-2 hours Beaches
    Magazine Beach image
We got a taxi to Magazine beach over Christmas. We decided to go away from the masses at Grand Anse. We got a taxi from the port it was $5pp each way. We arranged a collection time, the driver said don't pay me until I collect you. Luckily we didn't as he didn't collect us. The good thing though is there are Taxi's dropping off all the time here so plenty to get us back. The beach is very unspoilt the sunbeds are $5 each and there is plenty of lovely shade. There is a restaurant with toilets and a shower to rinse off. Snorkelling was disappointing here as there wasn't much to see and nothing of any colour but the place was clean and the water very clear. Vendors were limited (due to it not being over populated) and didn't pester. Great find and will return. See more..

St. George's a very hilly town and this Cathedral sits on top of one hill in capital's downtown so it's visible from almost everywhere. Streets leading to it are narrow and steep, so watch out. This is a Roman Catholic Cathedral constructed during the 18c made of stone blocks and bricks in a Neo Romanesque style. Interior is very bright and beautiful. Due to its elevated position it offers beautiful views of Grenada capital. See more..
