    The inner harbor promenade
Certainly not the best promenade you'll see, but still pretty interesting to walk around. Carenage is set in a bay which is in fact the inner natural harbor of St. George's. It's best seen from the Fort George, from where you can see the whole of it. Once down you can walk all around it - many small fishing and tour boats and nice views of the hill houses above. However, I did not find bars and restaurants around it which are typical for such places. From here you can catch water taxi or mini vans to take you to the fab Grand Anse beach.

    A pleasant evening walk...
Was on a 2 week Caribbean cruise and had a stop at Grenada. I did a day custom tour and ask the driver to drop me off at the Carenage after the tour. There's nothing spectacular, but its just pleasing and marvellous to walk around the Carenage in the evening lights. Its a nice waterfront and gives a great view of the bay with the lights around at night.
