-Diving in the Australs: a totally new world to discover
Scuba & Snorkelling • Dolphin & Whale Watching
Diving in Tubuai with Antoine and Kény in their new dive shop was a really great experience, partly because Antoine is an open-minded experienced diver with security as baseline, partly because Kény knows very well his lagoon and the outer slopes, but also because underwater life is different from Tahiti where I mostly dive: - extremely good visibility (45-50m on a bad day :p) - fish that are typical from the Southern parts of French Polynesia (damsel fish, groupers, sweetlips, lyretail hogfish, Pseudanthias ventralis at 25m, etc.) - even corals that are not seen in the Northern parts (Galaxea sp., Montipora sp. with many colors) My advice : if you want to see fish and corals you will probably never encounter elsewhere in French Polynesia, give a try and call Tubuai Plongée :). If you think there is not much to see of do in Tubuai, think twice! See more..

-Difficult but amazing hike
Caverns & Caves
The caves are very tricky to find; I wouldn't have been able to find them without a guide. There were some vertical parts on the trail to reach the caves that required a little climbing and there are some cliff areas, so I wouldn't recommend it if you're not comfortable with heights. We did a one-way hike where they dropped us off at one end and picked us up at the other end. It required walking through shallow ocean at some points as well. Overall it was amazing and a must-do on Rurutu. See more..

-Le lieu idéal pour rencontrer les baleines
Reefs
-Unforgettable experience
Scuba & Snorkelling • Taxis & Shuttles • Swim with Dolphins • Boat Tours • Dolphin & Whale Watching
Inertia Network arranges absolutely incredible travel experiences. I cannot say enough good things about the company's creativity, professionalism, and its ability to create unforgettable memories in some of the coolest, untouched places in the world. I did the Whales trip in Tahiti, and it was out-of-this-world amazing. Also, group leader Matt Reichel works magic with his photography skills to make sure all the memories will live on, not just in my head, but everywhere! Highly recommend to anyone looking to, not just travel, but to truly create amazing experiences and memories with others. See more..

-Lovely reed craft work from the village women.
Saturday: 12:00 AM - 11:59 PM Spent 1-2 hours Islands
A good island to visit as there is a useful dock close to the village of Haurei where the ladies make lovely items from the reeds and leaves which are more delicate than most you will find around Fench Polynesia. The Austral Islands are much less humid than most making them a joy to be in and walk around but there is always a wind which can be worse than the sun for burning so put plenty of lotion on before getting out and about.
