   Truly amazing experience! You really feel connected with nature during this smooth sled ride pulled by 6 (real) huskies, even though they do not look like the ones from the Disney channel as they are bred for their power and stamina, they are so cute and are made to do this. Afterwards we talked a bit with the guide in his wooden cabin with the open fire and you can really feel that he cares about his dogs. The dogs are also used for longer tours (competitions) and are in top shape! A must do if you go to Lapland! See more..

   Rami and his team were fantastic and very welcoming. It was evident that they cared about their huskies and they were natural hosts which made the whole experience amazing for all of us. The weather on our trip was stunning but absolutely freezing (painfully so) meaning we did not wish for more than the 5km and were really glad to retreat to their hut and camp fires!    I have traveled to 76 countries and 7 continents, and this ranks among my all time favorite travel experiences. First of all, the meeting place at the reindeer farm is located in a beautiful area— a real “middle of nowhere” vibe, in the best possible way. My friend and I did the reindeer/ice fishing/snow-shoeing combo. I didn’t see this trio combined by any other outfitter. Petra, our leader, is a real gem. She’s got a fantastic sense of humor and banters effortlessly with her guests. The entire program was perfect— nothing lasted too short or too long. Everything was just the right amount of time. Lunch was delicious too! The reindeer are beautiful!! Sledding through the majestic winter surroundings was surreal, and something I’ll always remember. An absolutely magical experience.    What a great experience. Really enjoyed. We chose this place as it was a local run place that seemed like they really looked after their dogs. And Paulina confirmed this for us during our visit. She was very informative and provided lots of information about the dogs and their routines and their summer plans. It was a thrilling time, being on the sled with the huskies. They provide you with overalls - we wore these over our sallopettes and snow jackets. They also gave us boots and gloves. I would definitely recommend a neck warmer/face covering for this activity as during the husky run, it does get very cold and my eyelashes froze over.    Erwan was a great guide. You can tell he has a lot passion and great knowledge about the nature in Lapland. He was very adaptive and chose the perfect route for my very first snow shoeing hiking. The nature he showed me through the tour was absolutely stunning. It was definitely the highlight of my trip and I highly recommend his tours for anyone interested in exploring the natures in Kittilä. See more..

   We stayed at Mummola for three nights over Easter 2017. It is an opportunity to stay in a family's home and enjoy their hospitality. If you look at their website it'll give you a good idea of the set up, which is on a working farm. This suited us we wanted something different to a hotel type experience. Visitors' accommodation is in a separate building (look at "Cottage" on the website) to the families living on the property. Meals are also shared in this building. The hosts are very generous (eg they involved us in traditional Finnish Easter activities and took us on a day trip to Pallas National Park). We have two small children (4 and 5) and Paula and Kimmo were very patient, and our kids loved playing with Olavi. See more..

    Just got back from the 2 night christmas sparkle trip with Canterbury travel staying in ruka. Was such a magical amazing experience. My partner dislocated his knee a few months prior to travelling and I have emailed them to change accommodation as it was a very steep uphill walk to village - they didn't only change our accommodation they noted about his injury and when we arrive had a brought him a wheelchair ski thing incase on the bus and throughout the whole 3 days asked him constantly if he was OK and if needed lifts etc thus was all down the a boy called Sam who was our rep he was absolutely amazing and couldn't recommend him more.     This is totally waste of money. 25€ and what you get...you can watch some leftovers of plants from a film which was never filmed. Looks nice at winter and with lights... But that's all...you cannot go inside of buildings as they are so fragile... I was told. I think that is nice to have places like this but come on...you need to offer something more for 25€... So...if you have spare money, you may go there but unfortunately I cannot recommend. See more..
