I was lucky enough to climb Ramelau near the end of October. I arranged a driver (Vincent) through Julio, formerly of Timor Adventures. It is a long rough road to Hatobulico and it was worth getting an experienced driver as the roads were in poor condition. Started the climb around 3.30am with a local guide, it was more strenuous than I thought but still made it to the top for sunrise. A real highlight of my trip to Timor Leste. See more..
