-The aura is magnificent - peaceful and beautiful

I have started coming to this place because it always has a positive vibrations to it. The temple hall itself is truly beautiful and the best part is everyone is welcome. I am told this place is not only a place of worship for Indian people but, is more on the spiritual platform that talks about bhakti yoga practises. I highly rate this place as a place of Zen. Also the food is absolutely delicious. Expect to get a free meal every Sunday afternoon at 1300hrs or Sunday evening at 1900hrs, depending on the season. The best thing I experienced here was the Diwali Food festival. The food was great, the people were great and the atmosphere was vibrant. See more..

The Christ the King Cathedral is more than my family place of worship; it is also an architectural splendor to visit and view, inside and outside. Located opposite the National Museum and Art Gallery, and in the middle of the old city center, or as it is called, The Main Mall- the Christ the King Cathedral presents an ideal place for worship, meditation or just enjoyment of the attractive interior. The Cathedral's 30 feet tower is renowned for its classic bell chimes. The tombstone of the founding bishop of the church, Urban Murphy, a charming Irishman, gives the Cathedral that enchanting Roman Catholic classicism. See more..

- 3.5 Matsieng's Footprints (25 reviews)
-Matsieng Footprints..time-worn but worthy.
Spent < 1 hour Points of Interest & Landmarks
Close to Gaborone, & surrounded by bush, The Matsieng footprints site is small but perfectly formed. Our local custodian quietly told the ancient myth of San Bushmen rising from the deep black pool & leaving footprints …theirs & their animals. Perhaps the footprints were carved by more recent Bushmen, 2,000 years ago…..each tale is rich & romantic. Our custodian when offered money, refused, saying the site is free to visit which we appreciated. An easy 5 minute stroll from the carpark makes this ancient site accessible to all..we picnicked nearby. A welcome break from modern Gaborone. See more..
