Cultural Museum
The museum is small, but it is free and a nice place to visit. It has some good history and some very interesting art on the outside of the building.

Not worth a penny
Been to this museum and found nothing interesting, no exhibition, just an elephant building filled with old stuff, not interesting at all

National Museum is closed
In short: the national museum is closed. I went here with my parents and managed to get in after all. The government official said they were rebuilding and redecorating the galleries, but we were welcome to have a look around. It's free. The funny thing is that the cars and a railway wagon are still in the museum. So we walked around and took some nice pictures of the old cars that were used by Sir Seretse Khama and also of the railway wagon. I must say that there are always hawks around when they see tourists. This time there was a guy who had a sad story about his car that broke down and asked for money to get back to his home village. He was well dressed and I happen to know the price of the taxi fares (the price he mentioned was way above!) Just turn down everybody that asks for money, it's a day job for these professionals. I referred the guy to the government official who was definitely less tolerant and lenient towards this gentleman.
