This tour left earlier than most with a complimentary pickup at 7:45 prompt with just four jeep occupants. The ride to the Forest was 15 minutes and our guide Nick was eager to answer our questions as we made the drive Northward. I titled this review a bit of everything because the tour included a little history (lighthouse, island inhabitants. native as well as introduced plants and animal information. We viewed pelicans as well as lizards and iguanas. At the blowhole, we were able to take pictures and on the opposite shoreline, we were able to snorkle in calmer seas. The combo of ocean plus the arid desert conditions made for an amazing day. Our tour served sandwiches for lunch and it was a great 6 hour day! See more..

Ruins of a light house that was built on the far northern end of the island, but never put into service. It's along the un-maintained 'long route' through the park, so not an easy spot to get to, but if you've taken the route then it's definitely worth a stop. See more..
