They have a whole case of vegetarian meat substitutes-including a fake chicken that was delicious, also veggie burgers, tofu etc… it’s pricy but then so are all the supermarkets depending on what you get. It seems like every island has that one underrated spot or simply one that does not attract the masses and yet provides something amazing that people miss out on :) Great vistas and although not personally tested I bet an amazing sunrise and sunset spot - it's high, providing all around the island view including open ocean to the east and Klein Bonaire to the west. TIP: easy drive from either Kralendijk or Rincon, passenger car will get you here as it's all paved road TIP: there is also a spot with 2 white benches (recently renovated it appeared) that have also a great view and provide even more relaxation, almost adjacent to the monument as you go down the hill See more..

My husband and I did the Cave Tour 1 with Dirk from Cave Tours Bonaire. It was excellent and totally worth the time and money. Dirk put safety first and did an excellent job at coaching us step by step through navigating the caves safely. He had lots of interesting information to share about the history and geography of the caves. The best part was the underwater swim to the "secret" cave - even though I was hesitant at first - it was totally worth it! I totally recommend this tour and Dirk. See more..

Vanuit ons huis lopen we dwars door de mondi naar de trail. 11 september. Tot nu toe zagen we steeds wilde orchideeën in de bomen, maar nooit in bloei. Je moet wel langzaam lopen en naar boven blijven kijken, terwijl het pad voor je voeten vol obstakels ligt. Eerst langs de vier enorme wayakas met prachtige basten. Ik begrijp niet dat ik daar nergens plaatjes van kan vinden op internet. En dan , joepie, de wilde orchidee staat in bloei. See more..

This beach is right next to the airport runway. On bonaire one beach goes into the next one, so sometimes the perfect spots are hard to find. There are some parking spots right at the runway of the airport. The Cactus Blue burger should be there as well. It is a perfect spot for beginner snorkelers. There are not a lot of stone so getting into the water is easy. There are quite a few corals and lots of fish as well. Perfect spot for the sunset. You can see the cruise ships leafing in the venting while the sun is setting. On Sundays there are a lot of locals spending their day on the beach having a BBQ with the whole family from baby to grandma.
