  1. 5.0 Landsailing Adventures (409 reviews)
    - Love, Thrilling, Fun!
Thursday: 1:00 PM - 5:00 PM Spent 1-2 hours Adrenaline & Extreme Tours
    Landsailing Adventures image
My fiancé and I decided to make this our first adventure on the beautiful island of Bonaire, and it did not disappoint. Donna was excellent, my phone died, which had the tickets and all the information, we tried to get ahold of the company on Sunday NIGHT (our reservation was for Monday) and she replied!!! She picked us up at our hotel and drove us to the location (less than a 10-minute drive); during that time, she shared/recommended some fantastic restaurants on the island and other activities (which we did!). The land sailing is scary at first while going through the quick training she provides, but after you are in, you get a taste for SPEED and want more! My favorite part is the bottom of the hill, where it becomes very soft, and your little car takes off! We got fortunate as we had the track to ourselves! 10/10 will recommend to children, parents, adults, elderly, happy, sad, traveling, locals! See more..

Have you ever tried drinking a cactus? Don’t miss this special experience when you’re on Bonaire! The Cadushy Distillery produces something you would have never imagined: excellent liqueur, made out of cactus. Entrance to the Cadushy Distillery including a tour with explanation of the process and including the tasting of their liqueurs is entirely free! The only thing you need to bring is your good mood ;-) See more..
  4. 4.5 Echo Parrots and People (34 reviews)
    - Small operation, big impact
Thursday: 6:30 AM - 8:00 AM Eco Tours • Nature & Wildlife Tours

It's not a flashy, expansive tour, but it was an extremely pleasant experience we had with Shanti (hope I recall the name amd spelling correctly). Both informative and just the right length, the tour guide will tell you about local flora and fauna and you get to see a few parrots, both small and large either in the process of rehabilitation or permanently housed there. Don't set your expectations sky-high and you will enjoy it a lot, particularly as you are doing a good thing for local bird conservation. The exeperience at thr emd where you actually leave your mark on the island, was super nice as well! Warmly recommend it. See more..

  7. 4.0 Dos Pos (21 reviews)
    - Interesting and scenic hike
Spent < 1 hour Points of Interest & Landmarks

We enjoyed the hiking loop, especially listening to and seeing birds. We took our time, so were out about 2 hours. The views of the lake were lovely. It was a hot day and we brought water as well as lunch. At times the trail became narrow and we really had to watch out so that we did not step on a cactus. At the end, we had to walk through water. I wish there were some sort of pallet or way to stay out of the water. See more..

    - Another shrine to the Blessed Mother.
Thursday: 12:00 AM - 11:59 PM Spent < 1 hour Points of Interest & Landmarks • Religious Sites
    Gruta Lourdes image
Despite the pouring rain, muddy road, and local construction, we made it out to this site of worship at the edge of town, in our rented golf cart. As we opened the gate to enter the seating area, the rain let up and lighting improved for some nice photos. As a Catholic, I make it a point to visit these types of shrines, as well as Churches, when travelling. We did not take the steps to the top of the rock. Make sure to close the gate when you leave. See more..
  10. 3.5 Museo Chich'i Tan (7 reviews)
    - A tour stop
Spent 1-2 hours Historic Sites • Points of Interest & Landmarks
    Museo Chich'i Tan image
We stopped here when taking an island tour. It was chaotic with several busloads of tourists vying for three toilets. There’s a dollar charge to use them and there are sprays of hand sanitizer when you’re done. No one was aware there was a separate facility inside the museum (3rd toilet for women only), so most people stood in the sun for the entire time of their stay, waiting in line. It would have been kind for the individuals collecting money to mention that! I had five minutes to see the museum; I would have appreciated more time to do so. There is a bar on the premises. They provided free samples of cactus liquor which was surprisingly good. See more..

  13. Bonaire Botanical Garden (0 review)
    Points of Interest & Landmarks
With her unique ecological environment, this Botanical Garden shows the original ecosystem of the Island Bonaire. Professor Manuel Simbana will give you a guided tour through his beloved healing plants, mushrooms; plastic-eating snails, poisonous Sargassum used as fertiliser. You will be awed thrilled and motivated to start caring for nature so much more than before. And - if you are lucky- you might get a short demonstration of magnetic fields that are laying in the garden. See more..
