Traditional paintings by locals
This is a good place to pick up some affordable art work by locals. Paper cuttings, pictures made of straw was the top seller on my tour, paintings. The artist signed and dated her work. My only complaint is they are not wrapped well for travel. But in a country where toilet paper is scarce I shouldn't complain. I improvised wrapping it back at the hotel room the best I could. We ate a real chinese lunch with a local family in this Bread and Breakfast area, called Huixan County that was very good. The city people come here to relax but don't expect it to be US standard B & B. Outdoor playground gym, no pools, beds, bedding and TV. Interesting area. They tore down the old houses and most of the people moved to the B & B area. The construction debris is everywhere because they don't have garbage pick up. Very dusty. I had to wear mask to walk around.

Jiaxing Farmers painters, market
Where is it? We could not find it. We walked for a half hour based on the Trip Advisor map location and ended up in a residential gated community. Very disappointed.
