Bamboo Mountain ~ Hidden Dragon Waterfall
Very beautiful! The car ride up the mountain to get to the "waterfalls is quite steep. But once you get there it's beautiful! "Hidden Dragon Waterfalls" The waterfalls are in a very steep bamboo-lined ravine, with concrete footpaths and metal staircases built up and down both sides. The waterfalls are part of a river which cuts down a steep ravine, of which Daxi Town is at the bottom and Wai Zhang Long Shan (a mountain village) at the top. It takes about 2hrs to walk up to the top and back down. You can take a zipline or tobaggon ride down.

Beautiful bamboo forested ravine, major tourist attraction
Hidden Dragon Hundred Waterfall has a 60 RMB per person entrance fee. The entrance to the waterfalls are in Daxi Town, an hour bus ride south from Anji Town. The waterfalls are in a very steep bamboo-lined ravine, with concrete footpaths and metal staircases built up and down both sides. The "waterfalls" themselves are very small, the tallest being no more than 5 metres. The waterfalls are part of a river which cuts down a steep ravine, of which Daxi Town is at the bottom and Wai Zhang Long Shan (a mountain village) at the top. It takes about 2hrs to walk up to the top and back down. Even in December when the weather was quite cold there were still tour groups visiting, which basically means that there is very little opportunity to enjoy the natural beauty of this location without the presence of loud tourists. If you do however plan to visit, late afternoon or early morning is the best. SIDE NOTE: If you plan on visiting the Anji region, then stay in one of the small quaint guesthouses in Wai Zhang Long Shan (a mountain village) to the east on the mountain ridge line above Daxi Town. You can either walk up to the village through Hidden Dragon Waterfall ravine or hitch hike up the mountain road to the village. A night in one of the guests houses is 50 RMB is slow season. The fresh air, gorgeous views and plentiful walks through bamboo forests and mountain villages make for a great getaway.
