    Grassy Waters Nature Preserve image
Had a really nice walk around this nature preserve. The walk is mostly on a wooden walkway, which was nice as you went thru swamps. I didn’t see much wildlife, probably we were walking too fast and it was mid-day. They did have a “Wanted wild boar” and explained why and how they got there and they were 250 lbs.. but no number to call if I found it.. (invasive species) so glad I didn’t see any. I did see a few of the area birds. Great to be able to see the grasslands, swamps and wooded areas. Yes, it’s FREE. See more..
