Once a small schoolhouse, this is now the home of Rocky Branch Mountain Music. Every Friday night, dozens of musicians and even more fans congregate to keep mountain music alive. Admission is always free. Donations are welcome and are used to keep this old schoolhouse in good repair. Rocky Branch is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. During the Mountain Music events, our kitchen serves a simple menu of snacks and drinks. A fresh pot of coffee is always brewed. Nachos and popcorn are favorites of the kids! A daily special is often on offer for a very reasonable price. Favorites include beans and cornbread or chili. Friday Night Jams Each old schoolroom is dedicated to a type of music or a group of pickers and grinners. Friday night jam sessions are informal and are limited to acoustic instruments only. Visiting musicians are invited to bring their instrument and join in. Audience members are encouraged to wander from room to room and hear what each room has to offer.See more..
