    Great lodging reservation experience!
I just got off the phone with Eddie, who oversees Sugarbush's lodging operations. He called to notify me of an issue with my upcoming lodging reservation and was incredibly helpful and professional. We ended up finding a solution that was even better than my original setup. The world needs more Eddies.

    Slidebrook again? Yes! 2/24/2020
It is a great trip between the two giant mountains riding the Slidebrook Express high speed detachable chair, and really nice to only have to park the car once to ski both resorts. The 2.5 mile ride takes 13.5 minutes to traverse, and there's always the hope that you'll see a moose. We skied Mount Ellen for an hour before heading over to Sugarbush for 3 hours and lunch, only to return for another hour at Ellen. The views today from both mountains were outstanding. There was a crowd at the top of Ellen admiring the scenery. Conditions were varied based on where you were on the mountain, in the sun or the shade, and traffic was moderate. We arrived to 34 degree temperatures and left with 44 degrees on the car thermometer. They were racing at Ellen before 9am so we used that slope at the end of the day, and managed to do 19 runs in 5.5 hours on the skis. Our vertical was 23,700 and we covered 22.3 miles. I kept thinking how different this experience was from other times here, and how HUGE the whole resort is. We got a very nice view of all 3 mountains on the ride home on some mountainous dirt road that we found with the GPS. 160 miles each way in the car in 2.5 hours from Deerfield, Mass.
