an afternoon of x-c skiing on a beautiful day
We loved the trails for X-C here. The conditions were perfect. Many trails avail for various levels of ability. Well groomed and maintained. Staff was very helpful in suggesting loops to take etc.

Excellent Classic X-C Touring Area w/ Reliable Snow
With north facing trails and decent elevation, this area will have skiing when almost everyone else is closed...or should be. It is a winter wonderland with gorgeous mixed hardwood/evergreen forest and really fun terrain. Most trails have gentle pitch and climb as you leave the center...perfect for warming up as you head out.....a makes for a rewarding, fun and easy return. Only weak spot is their reliance on snow machines for grooming. This is only an issue in difficult (ice, deep powder) conditions or for skaters who prefer wide, hard packed trails. Well worth a trip!
