Shepard Park, Florida, United States

4.5 (39 reviews) Spent Ranking #11 in Stuart Parks

Spectacular Sunsets!

Shepard Park is one of Stuart’s waterfront jewels with frontage on Frazier Creek and the South Fork of the St. Lucie River. The park includes a boat launch, picnic pavilion, playground, restrooms and a boardwalk along the St. Lucie. This is one of my favorite spots to watch the sunset over the sailboats moored in the river.

    little gem in the city
Very small park, but nice to walk around. Bring your camera, especially at sunset. You'll get some good pics of the bridge, marina and boats in the harbor. You can walk on a boardwalk that circles out over the river a little ways. If it's choppy, you'll get wet. Nice for picnics. small boat launch.

Wonderful, peaceful way to be close to the water
Cement and composite board cat walk area. short and easy walk. Great for observing gulls and pelicans, osprey and herons fishing. Wide enough for strollers or wheelchair access. Very peaceful and a lovely playground area as well.
