Haväng is a beautiful place and popular tourist destination, just north of Kivik and Vitemölla, at Verkeån's outlet in Hanö Bay. The area offers idyllic shore with long white beaches. Here is also the old Havängsdösen with stunning views of the bay and the sea. Sheep, cows and horses graze here and make sure the fields are kept open. It was fun to visit Sweden’s southernmost spot and take a picture. We enjoyed some fish and burgers at the outdoor restaurant. It has a few shops and cafes, clean toilets, and electric car chargers.See more..

The swimming area is located in Tobisvik, within walking distance just north of Simrishamn, and consists of an approximately two kilometer long sandy beach. The beach is not shallow, it gets deep very quickly and gravel in the water occurs. Within the sandy beach is a larger sandy field with sparse vegetation. Ever since I began going for walks with my friends in my early teens, this has been a favourite area for me. Either walking the distance all the way from Landskrona, which will require a longer trip or biking out to the area and then walking around there. The possibilities to drive out there are fairly limited. The area is now part of the "Skåneleden" hiking area in the southernmost county of Sweden. You will have excellent view over the coastline and the island of Ven from here. Beware, it can be steep at times. But beautiful and quiet. Fits both young and old, but not the youngest or the oldest. Bit of an adventure though.See more..

Parkerade vid pendlarparkeringen. Skräpigt. Ingen hit. Kändes otryggt att ställa bilen där. Sunkig början på vandingen. Inte så trevligt med motorvägen så nära heller. Synd på en så fin skogsled.
Men ju längre in i skogen vi kom destu mysigare blev det. Jag, fru och två pojkar, 5 och 7år. Inga problem för boysen att gå. Fin natur!
Välskötta slingor. Lätt att få grepp över området. Utmärkt vägvisning med färgsystem. Grillplatser och vindskydd.
Kommer återvända men då parkerar vi vid ”Grytåsa centrum”. Kör in vid Grytåsa-skylten och kör över motorvägen. Mkt trevligare. Toalett o grillplatser. Även skogsväg med lättare tillgång till vindskydd o grillplatser om ni har en skrinda/vagn med Er.

The Rock of the Dancer is famous all over the world, it is mentioned in scientific literature in countless languages. With around 1,200 images, the 500-square- metre quartzite rock slab is one of the largest rock carving sites in Scandinavia. There is a great variation of motifs here. A small number of animals, circles, weapons, spirals, wheel crosses and horsemen are found among the 25 ships, 210 feet, 700 cup marks and 300 images that have not yet been deciphered. The feet are naked or shod, and there are many different interpretations. Some say that they symbolize gods that manifest their presence, others that the footprints were aids to the dead as they passed to the next life. Others believe they were made by community leaders. The Dancer is found on the southern perimeter of the rock. The human figure appears to dance across the stone, but no one knows what it signifies.
