Sekupang Ferry Terminal, Riau Islands Province, Indonesia

4.0 (158 reviews) Spent Ranking #2 in Riau Islands Province Ferries

A little far from the city

This ferry terminal is slightly further away from the city, however, it is slightly newer then the other terminals and is less crowded. A useful tip for those arriving via sepukang terminal is that there is a mini mart on the second floor (departure area) which is near the kueh lapis store and opposite the ticketing counters. This mini mart retails SIM cards for use on your mobile devices!

Ferry Terminal with a lounge for those taking Majestic Ferry
There is a lounge which provide water, tea and green bean soup during my return trip from batam to Singapore. The lounge was only for the passengers for those taking Majestic Ferry. Outside the lounge, there is also a small shop. We figured out that the prices were slightly more expensive than the normal hypermart price. There is also charging station in the lounge which you can charge your mobile electronic devices before boarding. When it is time for the ferry to leave, the staff will walk around the room and inform the people that the ferry is going to depart.

    SEKUPANG FERRY TERMINAL, BATAM, INDONESIA
This is the second ferry terminal in Batam. The ferry terminal is comparatively new as compared to the BATAM FERRY terminal. There facilities and the structure are well maintained. The immigration procedure are efficient and good. There are little activities here, in the way of shops, cafes....... Reckon the terminal caters more for the visitors to the Batam Industrial park !
