Grand Batam Shopping Centre, Riau Islands Province, Indonesia

4.5 (37 reviews) Spent Ranking #2 in Riau Islands Province Shopping Malls

One of the better mall

Problem is difficult to cross the road. It I a better mall or higher end compare to other older mall in batam. Plenty of restaurants here. The security guard is very helpful to help mall customers to cross the road by stopping the traffic for you. Very good services.

Nice place, one of the newest malls
Top notch shopping experience in the mall. Nice Japanese BBQ and shabu buffet which costs $20-30, sports shops with good clearance sales, clothing boutiques where one can buy a variety of clothings for different age groups and styles. It’s a high class shopping mall, so you wouldn’t expect to buy cheap phone covers, have someone fix your phone protection screens or buy Low priced phone stands here. If you want that, need to go to other malls such as Nagoya hill etc.

    Great place for kids
There is a HUGE arcade at the top floor with many exciting & interesting game machines. It is hard to find such a big arcade in Singapore. What's more, the games were cheap! The price was as low as 3,900 Rp. Most of them were in the 40,000 to 50,000 Rp range. I did not manage to explore the rest of the arcade as well, erm... I was hooked onto a game. I certainly did not expect that! One game I loved was Crazy Clock. It was easy to score plenty of tickets & you could get your tickets counted by a machine, & exchange it for a prize. HOWEVER, and this really annoys me, there is only ONE machine & there is a loooooong queue with people holding a million trillion tickets in their hands. I had to wait an achingly long time for my tickets to be counted. Hmph! Perhaps it was because I visited on a weekend. And oh, the Marugame Udon there is so much cheaper than Singapore. What's more, they were giving away a free bowl of kake udon with any bowl of udon purchased! Unbelievable! Its tempura was also cheap! I could just take whatever I wanted. Woohoo~~~ Hang on, no wait. I couldn't ao that as I had 4 bowls of udon to share between my husband & a young kid. So I had to put back a few prices of tempura begrudingly.
