4.0Monkey Temple(1.909 reviews) - Definitely worth a visit. Friday: 12:00 AM - 11:59 PM Points of Interest & Landmarks • Religious Sites
We nearly didn’t visit this place during our stay in Jaipur as the reviews were mixed, but very glad we went. Our driver dropped us at the monkey gate, not at the temple itself. So we had long walk up the hill surrounded by monkeys, saw the 6 legged cow, (yes really!!), visited the sun temple with great views of the city and then walked down to the Monkey temple itself, which is fairly modest, but worth a picture or two. We then paid 200 rupees to be driven by motor bike back up and down to our taxi, very bumpy ride! We really enjoyed it and had a guide with us who we met as we parked our taxi, and he was worth the money. We dont normally use guides and it wasn’t essential here, but worked for us. The monkeys were really cute and yes it’s not the cleanest of places but feels really authentic. Wasn’t busy either. Wouldn’t be easy if you have bad mobility.See more..
3.5Brahma Temple(1.745 reviews) - Beware, be strong to say no! Friday: 12:00 AM - 11:59 PM Spent 2-3 hours Religious Sites
We went sightseeing, to know about the place, and the priests emotionally forced us to spend and do pind daan. This should be our choice, and only those who visit for this purpose, should be asked to do it. Infact they asked for a week long chappan bhog ie 11000/- x 7 days daan. And the way they did it, I felt guilty of choosing the lowest daan, when I had not even planned to do this at all. Overall ambience on a winter morning is relaxing. Realised there's not much to see and do around. There's a restaurant on the exact opposite Bank of the temple which is open till late night and offers a huge variety of vegetarian delicacies. We opted for the traditional thali. Full marks.See more..

There are two ways to reach the temple - one is stairs and other is ropeway. I would definitely recommend the ropeway as the experience of going up and down using Ropeway is pretty unique and good. The view is mesmerizing from the top. You can see the whole Pushkar City. The temple closes between 12-2 PM. So you should plan accordingly. There are some langurs on the top but they aren't harmful at all. I would definitely recommend visiting this when you are in Pushkar. The cost of ropeway is around 150 bucks per person.See more..

There are not a lot of tourists going to Osian which is good because you are left in peace and you are nowhere close to as much of a monetary target as you are in other places but it also means that you have a limited understanding of where you are, what you are seeing and what to do. Just imitate the locals and relax: you'll have a great experience. The temple is beautiful and well worth the drive which also gives you a sense of what the more rural India looks like.
