Wow, beautiful beach
Excellent beach, very clean and nicely maintained by Parks Canada. The area has ample parking, washroom facilities and lifeguards on the beach. The water is shallow and you can walk out for 100 ft in some areas and the water is still only to your calves, thus very safe for children. Brackley Beach stretches out for a long way so there is plenty of room for families to spread out. The sand dunes are quite breathtaking. The sand is soft and a light red colour. We were there on a very hot day in August and it was a fantastic experience, it felt like we were in the Caribbean. If hot weather permits, go to Brackley Beach and enjoy this natural wonder in PEI.

Pay for entry
The $8.50 per person was fair for how nice the beach was and I don't mind contributing to Parks Canada. Shaw's Beach and Brackley Beach are connected and you can walk to one from the other. We found prime parking right out front along the road by the boardwalk entrance to Shaw's Beach.

Beautiful Beach but....
Beautiful beach but this time we were there, it was quite busy and very windy there. It was hard to really enjoy ourselves this time given the cold wind. Even the lifeguards were all bundled up with their gear for cold conditions. Lots of parking (with EV charging stations). Washroom & change facilities available.
