Why such a small museum for a giant of US inventors. David Dazer the manager/guide is par excellence with his expert knowledge who ensures that if you have time he will take you thro every inch. So much to see, including overhead model train and the attached railway carriage on the outside and much. much more. We actually had to leave for our boat trip but then came back. I would have been really disappointed not to have completed the visit to my satisfaction as chances of return not good from Scotland. See more..

The museum gives you a 30 minute guided tour of this famous lightship. Lots of interesting facts, and it was fun to see the sleeping areas for the crew. The beds are so short! Our guide was very knowledgeable and had lots of little stories to tell. See more..
