Great location that can be charming, if you come with an open mind.
This is a free mini zoo with ample parking, toilets and a few food stalls on weekends. Located just behind the Telok Chempedak beach and overlooking the Royal Pahang Golf course. You will be able to find some shaded spots to just relax and enjoy the surrounding rainforest and sea breeze. After you visit, take a barefoot walk along the sunset beach (at 500 meters, next to the golf course) . Here the unspoiled forest touches the white powder sand and you'll find a nice boulder to rest on or meditate. If you are looking for a Singapore Zoo equivalent, you'll be disappointed, but come with an open mind and you'll find something special..... Main animal attractions: Gibbon Island, 2 playful Gibbons living on a small Island (no cage). Crocodile pond. Ostriches. Dear (can be hand fed on weekends). Kancil (mouse dear). Snakes (most cages are empty at this moment). Rabbit padding/feeding on weekends (RM 5).

    Disappointing
The zoo is very run down and hardly has any animals. The only few we could find were some ostriches, some cows and storks. None of the other enclosures seemed to have any animals in them. There is some construction going on so maybe they're improving the zoo. Entrance is RM4 per adult.
