Lovely caves but you must be prepared
I didn't know about these place until I stayed in Felda Tekam. It used to have many visitors based on the pictures and the amenities build there. There are several caves to explore, and I didn't manage to read any reviews before going there. Overall, you need to be prepared especially if you're coming with young children. You also need to have a certain level of fitness to explore these caves. There is an unofficial entry payment of RM 5 per adult at the guard post. So this is one place I need to come back too.

good tour guide, interesting caves
Our tour guide was young and agile ... we, not so much anymore ... but he was gracious and knowledgeable and helpful and we were fascinated as he showed us the different cave formations and the bats. We walked through forest and stream and muddy bits - a small introduction to what we would see later in Taman Negara - to get to the different caves until we got to one we could not bend ourselves to get through the opening - our disappointment, but still we enjoyed the caves that we were able to. Wear clothes and shoes you you don't mind getting muddy. This was an unexpectedly interesting and hands-on experience included in our tour package on the way to Taman Negara.
