Great little zoo

We spent about 4 hours here, but it would have been about 3 if the weather hadn't been so terrible. Despite the pouring rain and the COVID-19 restrictions, we were able to see almost all animals. The animals had a lot of space and none of the animals we saw were alone. Many were playful and seemed happy, especially the elephants and polar bears. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Some reviews mention bears and wolves in a single confinement, but they were separated by fences when we visited and didn't seem to mind each other.

    Brilliant place
What a gem of a Zoo. Really friendly staff who also speak English which is brilliant when you speak little to no Dutch. Animals all look happy and healthy and you can get really close to them as there are plenty of viewing areas for each enclosure. Seeing the Elephants with their baby was great but the highlight was the Brown Bears when they came up to the window and just sat there looking back at us. Highly recommended Dierenrijk.

    Fun little zoo
We live nearby and our little girl is getting more interested in seeing new things. This little zoo is a perfect start for our girl to explore the world and meet animals. She enjoyed the zoo al lot and the interaction she had with some of the animals but also with all the other children. For her; the size of the zoo was just the right...not too big and not too small. The only pity is that people are still allowed to smoke in the zoo. Strange considering the many children that visit the zoo.
