Fun for the kids, relaxing for the parent(s)
We were kindly received and quickly received a good and short explanation about the 5 person boat that I had reserved for me and my two children aged 9 and 13 years old. We also received a very clear map of the Biesbosch and the previously discussed quiz. The latter was on the tough side and not suitable for children, even I couldn't answer a lot of questions, but we did learn a lot about the Biesbosch itself and it gave us a route and goal to sail to. It is advisable to bring your own food and drinks for the boat, because we did not come across terraces to moor, there were a few beaches where you can go for a swim and take a break with the supplied anchor. The 5 person sloop was big enough for the three of us, of course, easy to drive, also for the children on the wider waters (under a watchful eye). It also offered some storage compartments for our bags, a 12v cigarette socket for the cool box and a USB connection to charge the phone (recommended for when you take the quiz!). I gave the kids the assignment to navigate and they took it very serieus, and sometimes if they’d behave, they were allowed to drive on open waters.
