2 hours to relax on board
This boattrip is a nice way to relax on the water for 2 hours , summer can be very busy on the water , lot's of small boths with inexperienced people on the wheel. On board you can watch the local fauna of the Biesbosch. I would do this trip again in a different time of the year.

A good day out
This attraction is a meal on a boat as well as a tour around the Biesbosch area near Rotterdam. The trip we took was an all-day affair starting at 9.00 am and including a hot and cold buffet lunch with a soup starter. We were well provided with tea and coffee at lunch (two re-fills) but it is buy other drinks during the day. We were greeted with coffee and apple tart as the boat set off for the Beisbosch, an area of natural beauty with reed beds, wide and narrow creeks and re-introduced beavers (not that we saw any). From there we crossed the Nieuwe Merwede into Beneden Merwede to the Nieuwe Maas all the way to Beatrix Haven to the west of Rotterdam and back via the Dordtsche Kil and Amer to Drimmelen. Throughout the day trip, the skipper gave a commentary on all the interesting sights along the river banks and including comments upon some of the various moored vessels as well as the landmarks. We thoroughly enjoyed our day for €41 each but it is a cash payment if you do not have a ‘Maestro’ debit card.

Next time I will rent a small boat
The cruise is ok. Loads of older people on board, bussed in. Not much explanation from the captain about the Biesbosch. Next time we will rent ourselves a small boat. Biesbosch is a beautiful area.
