Worth every penny
We had such an amazing experience with Alaska West Air! We had a family of 5, none of which are avid fishers . We did a day tour - that including salmon fishing. The flight and the afternoon fishing was more than we could hope for. Our guide, Nick, was kind and excellent at helping us understand the area and the fishing. The flight over and back and what you see from a sea plane was worth the cost alone! As a bonus, we saw brown and black bears with our guide ensuring safety above all else. You can tell that Alaska West had built a great culture with their employees and that seems to have created something truly magical. We questioned the cost at first but having done it now - it was worth every penny.

Bucket List Activity
We were lucky enough to have booked an all day trip with Alaska West Air-We flew into Crescent Lake on an Otter Float Plane with beautiful scenery all around us. Upon arriving to the lake we boarded a five person fishing trip and began fishing.We had a very successful fishing day with a knowledgeable guide and saw over 20 bears. This has been on my bucket list for years and it was so worth doing! Thank you to Grace at Alaska West Air who helped us out repeatedly!

Amazing fishing and wildlife viewing
Did a fly in to Wolverine Creek to fish and look at wildlife. this was 100% the highlight of our week in Alaska. we caught beautiful Sockeye Salmon, saw incredible sites and could not have been any happier. Our guide Evan put us on fish and explained all the history and information about what was going on. After fishing, we saw too many bald eagles to count, then onto seeing families of bears!! we had such a wonderful time that we re-booked the same trip 2 days later. This time we were paired up with a new guide named Tony and had an even more amazing time!! He showed us different areas of the lake and we saw even more bear families. simply amazing!!
