We had such an amazing experience with Alaska West Air! We had a family of 5, none of which are avid fishers . We did a day tour - that including salmon fishing. The flight and the afternoon fishing was more than we could hope for. Our guide, Nick, was kind and excellent at helping us understand the area and the fishing. The flight over and back and what you see from a sea plane was worth the cost alone! As a bonus, we saw brown and black bears with our guide ensuring safety above all else. You can tell that Alaska West had built a great culture with their employees and that seems to have created something truly magical. We questioned the cost at first but having done it now - it was worth every penny.See more..
