I’d heard of the bridge and didn’t make it to the town back in 2017. I thought the stop would be quick, but after seeing the bridge from the far side of the river, we decided to go into town and see it from that angle. We actually thought the town was cute. One of the towns famous bridges. This old pedestrian bridge is the steepest bridge I have seen. It stretches nicely above the river. The Camino way leads by it, but it worth to walk through it. The other side you find the nice restaurants and bars stretching next to the river bank. You can also check out some beautiful buildings in the street next to the river. Este puente medieval, que en principio fuera romano, une los Caminos francés y de Baztán, para los peregrinos que se hospedaran en el albergue de la Trinidad de Arre. Muy bien conservado tras la restauración. El río es el Ultzama.See more..
