Nice and serene hidden temple.
Deep in the alley lies an approximately 600 year old beautiful royal temple. The door to the main hall is carved into 2 guardian giants. The principle Buddha image inside the hall looks very elegant with an aura around his head. It is also claimed to be the biggest principle Buddha image in Nan district. Impressive!

Beautiful temple in Nan
Wat Phaya Phu, Royal Monastery is an old temple. In the viharn, there is the largest Buddha image of Nan Province and 2 Buddha statues in Pang Leela (Sukhothai style). And eye-catching with the image of a giant gate carved wood on the door. There is also a large pagoda built behind the temple.
