The about 100 year old authentic Lanna style 2 storey teak house in a beautiful garden was once a residence of Chao Fongkham, a descendant of the former lord of Nan. It is now occupied by her descendants and becomes a well-preserved and worth visiting museum and learning space (entrance fee = 30 baht ; this place is less than 10 minutes driving from the city). Staffs were very nice. During our sightseeing inside the house, we dimly heard some traditional Lanna songs (made us really in the mood). Also, there was a Lanna weaving demonstration on the ground under the house. Recommend !See more..

On the way to Pratat Khaonoi, this old temple is a must. I really love the style, quiet ambience and rich decoration which is not so vivid as all the temple in the heart of the city. Very original and well reserve. Try to look at the details of the architectue and deciration, really interessting and original.See more..

I enjoyed exploring around this beautiful park. There is afew caves to see and some beautiful walking tracks. Be careful what way you walk as there is not many signs. A couple of caves were cool to see. One that was tough to get to was very underwhelming up a big hill. I did not see one other person the whole 3 hours I was there so be careful if on own like me.See more..
